Priyamani (Priya Vasudev Mani Iyer) was born on 4 June 1984 in Bangalore, Karnataka, India is an Indian actress, who works in the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi and Malayalam language film industry. In 2003, she made her acting debut with the Telugu film Evare Atagaadu.
Priyamani is the daughter of Vasudeva Mani Iyer and Lathamani Iyer. Her father named Vasudeva Mani Iyer owns a plantation business and her mother Lathamani Iyer is a former national-level badminton player and also a former bank manager at Union Bank of India.
She is the granddaughter of Carnatic vocalist, Kamala Kailas, cousin of film actress, Vidya Balan and the niece of playback singer, Malgudi Shubha.
